During our meeting we had a number of good ideas and thoughts on our vision statement. However, since we weren't able to complete, thought we could continue to contribute ideas here. Perhaps Kelli can post our draft from the white board.

I'll wait for Kelli's notes on the Vision ideas because I didn't take catch all of the ideas, but should we decide first on the Mission statement? The last draft that I wrote down was:
Capitalize and equip entrepreneurs to establish affordable access to drinking water.
One thing I've thought of since then is what about replacing the word 'affordable' with 'equitable'?

I was thinking the same, but hadn't gotten around to asking Kelli to post - I agree we need to re-look at both the Mission and our draft notes on Vision. Not sure I like equitable as well as affordable, but maybe that's because I'm so used to using that word. Not convinced we have nailed the mission yet...

As a recap of Mission vs. Vision definitions:
Mission: Inform, What, Doing, Heed, Clarifies, Why We Exist?, Short Statement Vision: Inspire, Why, Seeing, Heart, Challenges, What Future as we fulfill mission?, Description, Paint Picture
The Jibu Mission we arrived at during our leadership offsite is as follows: "Capitalize and equip entrepreneurs to establish affordable access to drinking water"
Regarding the Vision, we were not able to land the plane however, made some headway. Please see below for brainstorming notes:
- Equitable access to safe affordable drinking water and basic life necessities - Transforming communities through access to opportunity - Raising the standard - Business Model Scale - (Equal) Opportunity - Speed - Scale - Local Ownership - Access - Partnering with Western resources - Systemic community transformation through access to opportunity and basic life necessities - Improving quality of life - Selling improved health
